FRESH PASTA IS BACK!

Have you always wanted to make fresh pasta from scratch, but haven’t found the time? Today is the day to change that! In this class we will discuss ingredients, different types of flour, different techniques for mixing pasta dough. We will mix our batches by hand and roll out a few different styles. Your chef  instructor will show you how to make some really quick and delicious winter sauces.

 

MENU

  • Fresh Egg pasta
  • Cacio e Peppe – Cacio e Pepe is a pasta dish from Rome. meaning literally,  “cheese and pepper” in several central Italian dialects. As the name suggests, the ingredients of the dish are very simple and include only black pepper, Pecorino Romano cheese, and pasta.
  • Ricotta Gnudi
  • Gorgonzola Cream With Toasted Walnuts

WHAT TO EXPECT: HANDS ON

Your Chef Instructor will teach proper techniques to elevate your cooking. You will work in groups with other guests in a fun, hands on environment led by our chef.

  • Work from a recipe that was created for each specific class
  • Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish from start to finish
  • Classes are roughly 2-1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Each student will enjoy a full meal of what was created in class!
  • Cooking classes are conducted in our state of the art Blue Star outfitted demonstration kitchen
  • Students receive 10% to shop our boutique before or after class
  • You will be cooking food with and for a group and will be on your feet! We kindly request that you tie long hair back and wear closed-toe shoes… thank you!
