Ok, we heard you. You make a “pretty” good dough, but it could be better. You’re not totally sure how to get it to the next level and you don’t think you can commit to the full 1 day class, just yet.
Look no further… this is the class for you.

We’ll make dough from start to finish, we’ll talk about flour, the yeast your using – water temperature – you get it, full on nerd out on pizza.

Then we’ll stretch some dough – talk about rolling vs hand stretch – top bake and eat – repeat.

  • Quattro Formaggi (4 cheese – shredded mozzarella, gorgonzola, ricotta and Parmesan)

  • Working with a pizza stone
  • Hand stretching vs rolling dough
  • Selecting canned tomatoes
  • Selecting cheese
  • Sourcing flour
  • Choosing a yeast
  • Topping a pizza
  • Baking a pizza in a home oven

What To Expect: Hands On Pizza Class

You will work in groups with other students in small groups – learning to make dough from scratch by hand in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Pizzaiolo.

  • Work from a classic recipe for authentic Italian pizza
  • Classes are roughly 3 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student will enjoy a full meal of what you created in class
  • This class will be conducted in our demonstration kitchen and will use pizza stones
  • Wine, beer and Soft drinks are for sale (sorry, no BYOB)

Students receive a 10% to shop before or after class

FOOD ALLERGIES
If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please let us know – however this is NOT a great class to take if you are gluten intolerant. Gluten Free Pizza At Home is the class for you!
