Grilling season is year round in our eyes so we’re still going strong, we’re ready to up your pizza game!

This hands-on class, geared for home pizza-makers who want to take their pizza outdoors. We’ll bake a few in our residential Blue Star ovens with our new pizza stones as well, and put some on grill for some fun summer pizza ideas!

We’ll talk equipment, flour, dough-making, shaping and hand-stretching, sauce and toppings (for vegetarians and omnivores), baking and using a home oven and grill stone!

 

What To Expect: Hands On Pizza Class

  • You will work in groups with other students in small groups – learning to make dough from scratch by hand in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Pizzaiol
  • Work from a classic recipe for authentic Neapolitan pizza taught in the tradition of the STG (Specialita tradizionale garanita)
  • Classes are roughly 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student will enjoy a full meal of what you created in class
  • This class will be conducted in our demonstration kitchen and will use grill stones to simulate out door grilling! So class is on rain or shine!
  • Wine, beer and Soft drinks are for sale (sorry, no BYOB)

Students receive a 10% to shop before or after class
