May is national grilling month, so we are kicking it off with our first grilling and smoking, from our resident pit master, Mikey Kay of  Man Meat BBQ. 

This a comprehensive course on charcoal grilling and smoking; 4 hours of fire, smoke and meat (and eggs)! This course has limited seating, that will walk you through the ins and outs of grilling. You do not want to miss this class!

ABOUT MIKEY KAY 

Mikey Kay is the voice behind our favorite BBQ podcast:  Man, Meat BBQ. His Introduction to the smokey delicious world of BBQ began at 13. He has not looked back since! He prides himself on his love for any and all things BBQ. Whether it be styles of cooking or the equipment. You name it… Weber kettles, the big green egg, PK grill and of course his Myron Mixon H2O smoker.

He believes sharing is the wealth of knowledge and experience, as a result he also gives some of the states finest BBQ classes.

What To Expect: Hands On GRILLING Class  – This class will be held outdoors rain or shine 
Your Pit Master will walk you through the proper techniques to elevate your cooking, grilling and smoking.
You will work in groups with other guests in a fun, hands-on environment led by Mikey Kay.
Work from a recipe that was created for each specific class.

Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish from start to finish
Grilling classes involve some long cook times and are roughly 4 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student will enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Cooking classes are conducted in our state of the art Blue Star outfitted demonstration kitchen and each class is led by an experienced chef instructor.
Wine, beer and Soft drinks are for sale (sorry, no BYOB)
Students receive a 10% to shop before or after class
