Roman-style pan pizza isn’t a new thing, it’s a street food favorite in the Eternal City and starting to now take off stateside. Pizzaiolo and Master Instructor Leo Spizzirri will walk you through this delicious style of pizza known as pizza al taglio – pan pizza bought by the slice. You’ll learn all about this Italian favorite, tricks and historical anecdotes.

 

What To Expect: Hands On 

  • You will work in groups with other students in small groups – learning to make dough from scratch by hand in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Pizzaiolo
  • Work from a classic recipe for authentic Roman Pizza Al Taglio
  • We will move from our classroom kitchen to the oven room to top and bake
  • Classes are roughly 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student will enjoy a full meal of what you created in class
  • Wine, beer and Soft drinks are for sale (sorry, no BYOB)

Students receive a 10% to shop before or after class
