Sfoglia (pronounced “sfo-lee-ah”) the old school way of rolling pasta with a dowel is making a resurgence.  In Italian and refers to a variety of handmade fresh egg pasta dough native to Bologna. Simple ingredients, big on technique, rolled paper-thin by hand using a wooden rolling pin, which helps the pasta develop its distinct textural characteristics.

In this class our resident pasta experts Chefs Leo & Maria will combine two classic sauces with this old world pasta and demonstrate this amazing meal with Italian wine pairings.

What To Expect: DEMO

Chef’s Leo and Maria will demonstrate classic Italian technique of rolling Sfoglia. This is a interactive demo. The chefs will be teaching as they make you dinner with our wine expert Devid Dezen from More Than Grapes will be pairing with the perfect Italian wines.
