Do you love sourdough but think its beyond your skill set? It’s not! Chef Summer will talk to you about baking terminology and have you making your own bread in no time.

Day 1: Chef Summer will show you how to build your own starter and show you the surprisingly simple steps for creating and maintaining your own starter to take home! You’ll create two classic breads from start to finish!

Day 2: In our second session, our instructor will show you how to incorporate your starter into a variety of breads, from a classic baguette to some of the best scones you’ve ever tasted. Once you you’re feeling more comfortable with the essentials, you’ll look forward to impressing family and friends with your own artisan sourdough creations.

Day 1: Preferments-Creating a Starter Lecture and Demo – French Boule – Herb & Roasted Garlic Focaccia
Day 2: Sourdough Baguette – Sourdough Biscuits – Sweet and Savory Sourdough Scones

What To Expect: Hands On Class  
Your chef instructor will teach the proper techniques to elevate your cooking.
You will work in groups with other guests in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Chef Instructor.
Work from a recipe that was created for each specific class

Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish from start to finish
Classes are roughly 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above. Each student will enjoy a tasting of what you created in class
Cooking classes are conducted in our state of the art Blue Star outfitted demonstration kitchen and each class is led by an experienced chef instructor.
Wine, beer and Soft drinks are for sale (sorry, no BYOB)
Students receive a 10% to shop before or after class
