We are honored to have Chef Rick Tramonto partnering with us on this cooking class series starting with his first book, American Brasserie: 180 Robust Recipes Inspired by the Rustic Foods of France, Italy and America. He is best known as the Executive Chef and partner in Tru, a contemporary fine-dining restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises.
He has chosen a delicious menu inspired from the Paris trip that started it all. This cooking class features updated recipes he has written just for us.
This course will feature a demonstration of each course and will highlight his award winning success story (he has won almost every award you can win) and walk us through techniques, the flavors and memories of being in France.
Chef Tramonto is currently partners with Chef John Folse in Home on the Range; their first joint venture Restaurant R’evolution, opened in 2011 in the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans which offers contemporary Creole cuisine. Their second venture is Seafood R’evolution, which opened in 2014 just outside Jackson, Mississippi.
