TEEN RESTAURANT WEEK

Do you have a teen that really loves to cook and bake? Well…  we are going to let them open a restaurant – right here at NAPCA! We will guide your teens through a 5 day culinary journey, the last day will be a full service lunch, that they will cook and serve their invited guests.

THE DETAILS

DAY 1 & 2 – The first two days will be with our Chef, working prep and basic cooking techniques working through a few recipes that are new and few familiar to get a sense for what the group would like to serve on day 5.

Day 2&3 –  The next two days will be with Leo our Master Instructor working with dough & sauce and learning to top pizzas and bake them.

Day 4 – Preparation for Restaurant Day

Day 5 – Teens will have two tickets to invite guests in for lunch that they prepare and serve.

MENU

DAY 1 – KNIFE SKILLS + SALADS + APPS

  • Bruschetta
  • Italian chopped salad w/balsamic vinaigrette
  • Fresh herb Pesto & Pasta

DAY 2 – QUICK BREAD + DESSERTS

  • Garlic Monkey Bread
  • Raspberry Jam Crostata
  • Lemon Ricotta Cookies with Citrus Glaze

DAY 3 – DOUGH – SAUCE – TOPPING – BAKING

  • Making dough
  • Homemade Sauce
  • Working with dough – topping – baking

DAY 4 – PREP DAY 

DAY 5 – RESTAURANT IS OPEN!

WHAT TO EXPECT IN TEEN RESTAURANT CAMP

  • This class is intended for teens – 13-17 

Teen classes are written with older kids in mind – recipes with direction but a little more sophisticated for the older set.

  • This class is hands on – with demonstrations from our Pizzaioli
  • Students work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish from start to finish.
  • Class are roughly 3 hours, unless otherwise noted.
  • We respectfully request any long hair tied back (we provide hair ties just in case) and please wear closed toe shoes
