Old World Chicago – December 2026

Pizza is as Italian as it gets and no one does it better than Chicago! This class will teach you an authentic recipe from Old World Italy itself with the influence from Italians in Chicago. The bread-like, thin crust and traditional sauce is what makes this pizza authentic and different than what you may get at your local pizzeria. We will go through the ingredients and techniques like they have been used in Italy for generations!

What To Expect: Hands On Class

All classes are 18 years old and over unless otherwise specified.

Your chef instructor will teach the proper techniques to elevate your cooking.

You will work with other guests in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Chef Instructor.

Work from a recipe that was created for each specific class

Work others to prepare each dish from start to finish

Classes are roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student will enjoy a full meal of what you created in class

Cooking classes are conducted in our state of the art Blue Star outfitted demonstration kitchen and each class is led by an experienced chef instructor.

Wine, beer and Soft drinks are for sale (sorry, no BYOB)

Students receive a 10% to shop before or after class

We can not make any substitutions the day of class. Thank you for understanding.

Cancellation Policy: Class tickets are non-refundable. Submit a cancellation request at least 72 hours before the scheduled class start to receive credit toward a future class. No credit is issued for requests received less than 72 hours before class. You may allow someone else to attend: submit an attendee-name change in My NAPCA so staff can update the roster. Timing uses the original request submission time. Earlier purchase acknowledgments remain available for staff review.

During Winter season if there is a Winter Weather Advisory in affect or there is inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel within 24 hours notice.
