About this experience

We are making tavern style pizza at NAPCA! The debate will always continue, deep dish or tavern style, what is REAL Chicago pizza? We will talk about what makes Chicago pizza so special and of course, how to make the best version at home in your home oven.

Our chef will cover making a recipe for pizza dough, proofing techniques and forming a perfect crust for Chicago-style thin crust pizza.

Once we choose our toppings the pizzas are slid onto a in a deck oven to bake up crispy and cheesy with a thin crust. You will be making pizzeria-worthy pizzas at home from now on.

The key is quality flour and ingredients and a hot pizza stone. Attendees will take home a dough that they make in class and we have everything else for sale such as yeast, tomatoes so you can make everything you need to make it at home. It’s a class and a pizza party!
